Rogliano's Simple Pasta Salad

An easy chilled Italian pasta salad with tri-color rotini, cucumber, grape tomatoes, black olives, and Rogliano's Authentic Italian Dressing. Chill the pasta before the final dressing for the brightest flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounce box tri-color rotini
  • 1 large cucumber cut into chunks
  • 1/2 package grape tomatoes
  • 1 can black olives drained
  • 1/2 bottle, plus more to taste Rogliano's Authentic Italian Dressing start with 1/2 bottle and add more to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
    12 ounce box tri-color rotini
  2. Drain the pasta and let it cool.

  3. Toss the cooled pasta with a small amount of Rogliano's dressing to keep it from sticking.

  4. Add cucumber, tomatoes, and olives.
    1 large cucumber, 1/2 package grape tomatoes, 1 can black olives
  5. Toss with additional dressing to taste.

  6. Add pepperoni, cheese, or extra vegetables if desired.
  7. Refrigerate leftovers.

Notes

Best texture tip: Cook, drain, and chill the pasta completely before adding the full amount of dressing. Cold pasta keeps the dressing on the surface instead of letting it soak in.
Event prep option: For parties, cook and chill the pasta ahead of time, keep the vegetables cold, and toss everything with the final dressing shortly before the event starts. The salad stays fresher, brighter, and glossier.
Pepperoni, cheese, and additional vegetables are optional add-ins.
